Oct. 7
I take the yearbook class outside during one of the first few days of class. Half of the class is blindfolded and the other half will take their elbows to lead. No talking is allowed. The editor leads the group around the campus. The students learn to use there other senses and how it feels to be dependent on another person. After a long walk they trade blindfolds. The activity gives them a sense of belonging to a team. They know that the editor is their leader and that they must work together to complete the tasks in front of them.
