Khan's videos got me thinking about students doing the same thing. Instead of the teacher creating the lesson, give the student the task (even better - a choice between tasks that allow differentiated learning), the digital equipment and get them to create the lesson and then present it to a class. I teach Biology and I'm really trying to get students presenting as a 'regular' thing, instead of just a special thing to do once/term. It seems to be increasing the quality of their work and because they present, I can tell what they're really learning and adjust their next learning accordingly.
