The Teacher Experience Exchange provides you with a discussion forum where you can discuss general topics or more specific topics if you choose. These discussions allow you to interact with a moderator and other students on the site.
To access the discussions forums:
To read a particular message, click the message topic. A new page opens that shows the full text of the message, as well as all related replies. From this screen, you can either write a reply, return to the main discussions area or view previous or next topics.
To reply to a message:
The name that appears when you post a message is called your User name. By default, your User name is the first letter of your first name followed by your last name (as entered when you registered). You may change your user name at any time. To do so:
Our moderators review the discussion forums at least every other day, so you should receive a response within that timeframe after posting your question. However, if other students have already answered your question correctly, the moderator may not provide an additional response to the duplicate question.
When someone responds to your message, a red dot will appear next to your topic on the Discussions forum page. Click the topic to review the full text of your original message and the response.
You can tag posts as Innovative, Valuable or Tech savvy on the discussion forums. Simply click Innovative, Valuable or Tech savvy at the bottom of each post to share what you thought of the post. Tagging posts lets you express your opinion as well as help others who may be browsing the forum for the first time.
User badges are applied to your profile automatically as other users on the site rate your discussion forum posts. If other users find your posts innovative, valuable or tech savvy, those attributes are associated with your user name and appear on your public profile.

Each post in the Teacher Experience Exchange discussion forums has a Flag as inappropriate link. If you see profanity, spam, or any other violation of the Terms of Service, please click the Flag as inappropriate link to let us know. Select the abuse type, enter a comment if you want and then click Submit.
This means that another user has already flagged the content as inappropriate for that post. The post is under review by our moderators and will be locked until the review is complete.
